PAC Myth #3 – We’re Not Ready For Peer To Peer

CLICK for the complete PAC Myth Infographic

The bottom line is that peer to peer programs are capable of increasing PAC participation and receipts by more than 100%. Period. Microphone drop. Honestly, this statement alone justifies getting your peer-to-peer program rolling. So why does this program work so well?

“The most important thing in communication is hearing what isn’t said.”
– Peter Drucker

By creating one on one or small group experiences your trained peer-to-peer leaders are able to listen to eligible member’s concerns and address misconceptions….right in the moment. As much as we may think we can preemptively overcome objections in our PAC communications, the truth is we aren’t mind readers and polls can’t capture everything.

“Make it simple but significant”
– Don Draper, Mad Men

Peer-to-peer not only brings clarity to your PAC messaging but tailors it in a way that is personally significant to your audience. There is no better way to reach out to prospective PAC members and donors than through personal conversation. It creates transparency and sends the message that every individual’s participation in your PAC is important and impactful.

I hope this post gets you excited about integrating or expanding your PAC’s peer to peer approach. In my experience, a well-executed program can be a launch pad for real and measurable success.
